Monica Fuerst Finkelstein, LEED AP

Monica graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona CA (Cal Poly, Pomona)  |  She is accredited by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) as a LEED Accredited Professional in 2008  |  Monica is also certified in two traditions of Feng Shui – Western Form (1998) and Classical Compass (2000)  |  From 1984 – 1998 she worked at various architectural and design build firms engaging in commercial and residential schematic design, design development and construction documents, etc.  |  She worked part time in the Zoning Department for the City of Laguna Beach which gives her the knowledge of the behind the scenes to take a project from conception through construction  |  For the last 16 years she has run her own business, incorporating Green/Sustainability and Feng Shui into her designs ranging from remodels and additions to high end custom homes.

Monica has been published in the Laguna Beach Magazine (May2010)  |  In the past she volunteered in various organizations within her community of Laguna Beach, such as Transition Laguna Beach (Green Building, Gardening, Food Coop, etc.,)  |  Zero Trash Laguna  |  and the Community Learning Center.
